Zinal - Trail No. 7 - Petit Mountet

This route, starting from Zinal, allows you to reach the Petit Mountet mountain hut by bike

You can actually reach a mountain hut by bike at Petit Mountet! From Zinal, head toward La Tzoucdana and cross the Plats de la Lée. At the far end of the Plats, the trail climbs steeply toward Vichiesso, where the Weisshorn and the Grand Cornier stand particularly imposing. The final, fairly steep climb takes you to the cabin. The descent begins along the same route; you can then cross to the other side of the Navisence River to return to Zinal.
