At Schönried train station (1230m), go to the right over the railway line. Before the sporting goods store, turn left and walk about 100m. Turn left again, then you reach the history trail (panoramic route). Various panels explain the history of the Gstaad region. This path runs about one kilometer flat and then later gently rises. You cross a small road and continue on a level path to Saanenmöser. Here you have the option to take the train back to Schönried.
Transport
The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland, directly on the border to the French-speaking part of the country.
