Description

The Almageller adventure route offers an exciting change for adventurous families, teenagers, and those young at heart.
The absolute highlight of the route is the two suspension bridges (60 m and 45 m) as well as the fabulous view of Saas-Almagell and the Saas 4,000-meter mountain world. On the route, some well-secured rock passages can be found. Surefootedness and a head for heights are required. Children should only hike this route accompanied by an adult. The adventure route is not suitable for dogs. The path starts from the top station of the Furggstalden chairlift heading north through the forest trail and leads around the Almagellerhorn past the areas Hohlerch and Mittli Flüe to the Almagelleralp. Access is via the hiking trail Saas-Almagell-Furggstalden. At Mittli Flüe, you have the option to begin the descent to Saas-Almagell. From the Berghotel Almagelleralp, the tour can be continued via the Almageller high trail to Kreuzboden or via the path “in the valley of the Almageller” to the Almageller hut.
