The path is wide and easy to walk. There are two different variants or circular walks. Impressive is the view of the Rhone Valley, the Turtmann Valley and the Bernese and Valais Alps. Also, the section through the forest above Leuk is astonishing. It burned down in 2003 and is now naturally recovering.
Albinen as well as Guttet-Feschesl are both typical, well-preserved Valais villages with sun-darkened chalets, barns and granaries, which should not be missed.
Transport
From the A9 motorway to Susten. Then towards Leukerbad. At the Guttet-Albinen junction turn off and drive to Guttet or Albinen at the starting point.
