Description

The three-kilometre circular trail is suitable for connoisseurs, families with children and those interested in alpine flowers. Over a length of around 700 meters, up to 120 different well-known and sometimes rare plants can be explored and are described on signs. From the Klewenalp mountain station, the trail initially leads along the wide path to the mountain chapel (the cross with Christ on the outside of the entrance façade was created by the famous sculptor Hans von Matt) and to the well-known Alpstubli mountain restaurant. The path branches off here, continuing to the right on the wide path to Röthen. Here the Alpenblumenweg branches off to the right again. Still on a wide path, the route leads around the Klewenstock and back to the mountain station. The Alpine Flower Trail can also be booked as a guided tour (AlpFlora)
