The autumn hike Saas-Fee is a pleasant walk through golden-colored larch forests and an absolute highlight in autumn.
From Wildi, take the lower road towards Hotel Fletschhorn/Sengg. When you reach the hamlet of Sengg, follow the path towards Bideralp, which leads up to the left. At the end of a meadow, the path splits again; stay left and follow the path towards Unner Senggbodu and Bäru Falls. At the Bäru Falls keep right and hike up to Café Alpenblick.
Behind the café, follow the small path through the forest and at the first crossroad pass a slight elevation over the right path (towards Hannig). Above the Stafelwald you reach the forest edge. At the field road below, turn right and follow the path to the junction with the fireplace. After the junction, turn right cross-country towards the Glacier Grotto. The path leads to the glacier lake and over the glacier field to the Restaurant Glacier Grotto.
After a rest at the Glacier Grotto, follow the path to the valley station Felskinn, turn right into the forest and return to the village via the Suonenweg.
