UNTERBÄCH BIKE TOUR: This moderately difficult bike tour starts in Unterbäch and leads first to Brandalp. Cyclists who want to conserve their energy can also take the chairlift for this section. From Brandalp, the route continues along Sänntumsstrasse to the balancing reservoir, where the paved road ends and a dirt road leads via Breite Stäg to Gorpart. At the Gorpatbach stream, the trail branches off toward Unners Sänntum. On the Unners Sänntum alp, also known as Ginals, it’s worth taking a short break—perhaps even stopping for a bite to eat on the sun-drenched terrace of the Ginals mountain restaurant. During the summer months, you can also buy fresh ziger and mountain cheese here. The final ascent then leads to the beautiful “Gibidum” viewpoint, where the magnificent view makes up for all the effort and exertion. You can refresh yourself at the fountain before embarking on the rewarding descent toward Unterbäch. The trail leads northward down the forest path to Breite Stäg.
