Brandalp trail Unterbäch

The Brandalp trail starts in the village of Unterbäch and follows the Women’s Quotes path up to the Brandalp. On the beautiful path through the forest, you will find signs with quotes from famous women from all over the world, meant to provoke thought. The path was created in memory of the women of Unterbäch who in 1957 were the very first Swiss women allowed to participate in a vote. For this reason, Unterbäch is also called the Rütli of the Swiss woman. Enjoy the magnificent panoramic view on the Brandalp and treat yourself to culinary delights before taking the descent via Eggini back to Unterbäch.
