Description

The winter walk between the Col du Pillon and Isenau offers spectacular views of the Les Diablerets mountains and the peaks surrounding Les Diablerets and passes by Lake Retaud situated in a basin on the south side of the Palette and frozen in winter.
An opportunity to escape above the resort of Les Diablerets, between the Col du Pillon and Isenau via Lac Retaud, an idyllic spot facing the grandiose panorama of the Diablerets glacier. This trail starts at the Col du Pillon, from where you can see the impressive Glacier3000 cable car. The hike continues along the snowy footpath to Lac Retaud. The panoramic terrace of this restaurant invites you to take a break and enjoy the magnificent view of this unique site. The path continues across the Moilles plain to Isenau. For the return journey, take the same route in the opposite direction to the Col du Pillon. If you bring the children, you can pull a sledge. For the beginning, a variant is then possible by road. From the Col du Pillon car park, follow the Col du Pillon road in the direction of Les Diablerets for 150m, then turn right.
