Scenic circular hike from Lauchernalp to the Lötschenpass hut.
The ascent to the Lötschenpass hut begins from Lauchernalp, where the friendly hut team around warden Beat Dietrich is already waiting for you. The magnificent view from the pass summit over the Lötschental and Kandertal rewards you for the climb to the hut. Especially the view across to the mighty Bietschhorn and beyond the Rhone valley to the Mischabel group is breathtaking. At the Lötschenpass hut, you can refresh yourself for the descent via Kummenalp and further to Lauchernalp.
Transport
From Goppenstein, you drive into the Lötschental, past the villages of Ferden, Kippel to Wiler at the valley station of the cable car. Take the cable car up to Lauchernalp.
