F2 AlpnessTrail Stage 9: Gsteig - Feutersoey

The AlpnessTrail offers long-distance hikers a circular route of 13 stages across the Alps of the Saanenland and the Obersimmental.

High peaks and idyllic lakes The beautifully designed path leads us along the Reusch stream. We literally immerse ourselves in the forest. At the Reusch Alp, we reach a plateau at 1,343 m above sea level. This place is usually bustling. After the Reusch, we cross the canton and language border and make a detour into the canton of Vaud. In the distance, the cable car of Glacier 3000 can be seen. After the Col du Pillon, we ascend through alpine pastures to Lac Retaud. Coffee is ordered in French in the cozy restaurant. The peaks of the Diablerets massif are reflected in the water of the little lake. From the dreamy mountain lake, it goes further to the big brother, the Arnensee. Looking back, one feels transported to wild Canada. The stage destination is another 5 km further down in Feutersoey.
