The route in the Klewenalp-Stockhütte area is ideal for a lovely day’s hike, whether with the family or on your own. It starts at Klewenalp, at the top station, and winds round the Klewenstock towards Tannibüel. With breathtaking views of the Schwalmis, you continue along the nature trail to the highest point of the circular walk: the Twäregg. A rest area with a fire pit is the perfect spot for a short break. From there, you can take the quick path in one go down to Stockhütte, before continuing along the tarmac road to Emmetten. The route continues in a charming manner through Sagendorf – where a sawmill once stood – and then through the Brennwald. The Chapel of the Cross captivates visitors with its frescoes. There is also a campfire site in the immediate vicinity. In Seelisberg, you can make the most of your stay with a swim in Lake Seelisberger Bergseeli or a visit to the children’s playground. From Seelisberg, it’s just a short distance to Treib. Don’t miss a short detour to the Natural Bike Park near the Hotel Seeblick. The boat will then take you back from Treib to Beckenried.
