Description

This snowshoe hike leads through the snow-covered larch forest to the sunny Hannig mountain. Plenty of sun and the impressive Saas mountain ...
The snowshoe trail starts at the valley station of the Hannig cable car and initially follows a few meters of the road northwards. At the first junction, turn left onto the path to Boutique Lodge Spycher and follow it until it meets Hohneggweg. Follow this a few meters northwards until a clearly visible marker appears on the left. Now follow the marker upwards in curves until the path meets Carl Zuckmayer Weg. Then follow this path southwards to the Alpenblick restaurant. From there, stay briefly on the wide path before the path turns left into the forest. Follow the markers on this narrower path to the edge of the forest. From there, follow the path to the clearly visible Alpe Hannig. At Alpe Hannig, the path continues about 400 m northwards before bending past a barn. From here, the trail leads northwards to the last curve, before ending at the Hannig mountain station.
