Beautiful hiking route from Hasliberg Reuti to the Brünig Pass with extensive views of the panorama from the Grimsel massif to the Brienzer ...
The panoramic trail from Hasliberg Reuti to the Brünig Pass lives up to its name. It offers a panorama over the entire wide plain of the upper Aare valley: from the Grimsel to the Brienzer Rothorn range. Deep below flows the Aare, which flows into Lake Brienz in the northwest. The winter-friendly hiking trail network on Hasliberg is considerable: circular routes, ascents with subsequent toboggan runs - almost everything is possible. The panoramic trail from the Reuti station via Wasserwendi and Hohfluh to the Brünig Pass is the clear king route. It follows the slope in changing ups and downs northwestwards, passing through forest sections, completely open areas, and villages. The hike can also be done in reverse.
Transport
There are various driving options by car. From Basel and Geneva, the fastest route leads via Bern. From Zurich, the fastest route is towards Lucerne and the Brünig Pass. The pass is open in both summer and winter.
From the south, access is via Grimsel or Susten Pass into the region. Both passes are only open in summer. As an alternative, the Simplon Pass and then the Lötschberg car shuttle are available.
