Lapiaz Tour

The walk begins and ends at the Tseuzier dam. Once you have left the dam, you walk along the lake to the Gîte de Lourantze, where you can stop for refreshments. You then climb up to the picturesque Lake Ténéhet, which lies amidst the Schratten. The route continues with a gentle descent across the Schratten, a wonderful natural balcony overlooking Lake Tseuzier. From here, you descend to the Armillon mountain pasture. The path then takes you through a small tunnel and, after a final descent, on to Lourantze. You’ll return to the dam by following the Sion suone from its source. This route may be made more difficult by firn or fresh snow. Please note: The Schratten tour is a mountain hike (please bring suitable equipment)!
