Le Gô panoramic trail

The walk begins at the Anzère cable car car park. On the Alp Gô panoramic trail, you’ll first pass through the charming mountain pastures of Alp Gô and their meadows. You’ll then walk past the bunker belonging to the Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research. You’ll then leave the Sionne Valley heading towards Étang-Long, where you can stop for refreshments. Finally, you’ll follow the Sionne water channel from Sion to Anzère. Did you know that more than 60 different species of butterfly live in the Sionne Valley? To ensure the butterflies can complete their life cycle undisturbed, the municipality of Arbaz has decided not to mow the verges along this route until the end of September.
