Le mont Lachat de Châtillon

Walk down from the summit of Mont Lachat (2 000 m altitude) offering a 360° view of the surrounding mountains and a view of the summit of Mont Blanc. It is also a renowned take-off area for free flight. Accessible by the Lachat chairlift.

There's something for everyone, whether you're a keen sportsman or a contemplative walker, and an orientation table gives you an exceptional 360° panoramic view of the Jura, the Bauges, Chablais, Bornes, Aravis and Bargy ranges, as well as the summit of Mont Blanc and the highest peaks in the Alps. Departure via the Lachat chairlift (in operation from late June to late August), then down to the Col de Châtillon and back to the start at La Côte. It is possible to walk up Mont Lachat from La Côte. The round trip is 7.2 km.
