Le Tour des Alpages

A hike through the region’s alpine pastures: From the gondola lift car park, a climb of around 3.5 kilometres through the forest awaits you to reach La Brune. Once at the top, you’ll pass through the region’s various alpine pastures. For those who are less fit, there is the option of taking the gondola to the midway station and starting the hike from there. First, you’ll reach Alp Tsalan, where Rosemarie and her team welcome you with refreshments throughout the summer. You can also buy the cheese produced there – a real treat! Follow the path to reach Alp Duez and then on to Alp Serin. Here, don’t forget to try the famous Sérac! On request, you can arrange a tour of the cheese dairy. Follow the signposts, which will lead you to Les Rousses. You’ll return to Anzère via the Sion suone. Let the signposts guide you first to the Grillesses and then to the holiday resort. This walk takes you through stunning landscapes and is very varied. An easy route suitable for everyone, though its 17-kilometre length means it should not be underestimated. For a shorter route, follow the dry suone at the level of the Serin cheese dairy. Allow 4 hours 30 minutes.
