You have arrived at the start of this itinerary, at Les Ecovets, bordering Villars. Take a moment and admire the view that extends to Lake Geneva and the resort of Leysin. There is a nice viewpoint a few minutes walk from the car park, past the Ecovets restaurant. From the small car park on the roadside, the first signs invite you to the Chemin de la Bergerie, which leads into the forest. After crossing a field and then a forest, continue your route uphill. Take breaks and enjoy the scenery! Join the road to Les Tailles, turn right and follow it uphill (several right-angled bends). When you reach La Truche, the highest point of this route, you go down through the snow-covered fields and return to your starting point. Turn right towards the signposts and walk down the path through the fields to the start of the route. You arrive at Les Ecovets.
