Pretty trail in and out of field and forest and enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The route takes you to Solepraz and then down a steep track to Le Sépey. Warning : certain stretches of the trail are also used by skiers.
This hiking trail in Leysin starts behind the ski lifts and runs alongside the Fabiola Hotel before gradually climbing through the forest. It leads to a ski slope, but be careful as it is shared with downhill skiers.
The route continues on a lower path, alternating between forest passages, open clearings and old chalets typical of the region, which line the trail and add to the charm of the walk.
The route then continues on a gently sloping path, winding between chalets and chairlift stations, towards the Solepraz area, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
The hike ends with a descent through the forest to the village of Le Sépey. Upon arrival, you can return to Leysin by public transport or extend the experience with a convivial meal at the Hôtel-Restaurant du Cerf, a popular spot with hikers.
