One of the most beautiful mountain bike trails and one of the smoothest rides in all of Valais. The route runs west from Eischoll, via Tschorr, to Steg-Gampel, and can be combined with the Moosalp Plateau Bike Trail. The cable car takes you from Turtig (Raron) to Eischoll. From there, you can either take the chairlift up to Striggen or ride your bike directly there. From Striggen, the route continues across the high plateau—offering magnificent panoramic views—toward Sengalp. Near the hamlet of Meiggu, a short but steep climb leads to the Tschorr alp, with breathtaking views of the majestic Bietschhorn and the surrounding peaks of the Bernese Alps. From Tschorr, an exceptional enduro descent awaits you. This fantastic singletrack runs alongside the Färichwald forest, descending toward Habere and briefly crossing the mountain road twice. Fluid yet demanding, the descent into the valley winds through the forest to the hamlet of Lunggi. Two or three tight hairpin turns cap off this highlight of the enduro ride, before the route ends at the Gampel-Steg train station. From there, take the gravel path that runs along the Rhône and passes by the idyllic Lake Baggilla to return to Raron.
