This winter hiking route leads through bright larch forests into the peace of nature to the snow-covered Majingsee. A culinary stop at the ...
The start of this route is located at the village square in Leukerbad. Via an underpass of the thermal hotels, a lovely path rises through a small larch forest. You will notice a huge stone or retaining wall from the 18/19th century. It is still considered a pioneering achievement in avalanche protection today. Soon you will reach the idyllically situated restaurant Weidstübli. If you wish, stop in and enjoy culinary delights before continuing the hike to Majingsee and arriving at the foot of the quiet Dala valley. The return is on the same route.
