Muggestutz 2 - Zwergenweg to Bannwald.
The story of Muggestutz and the Zwergenweg continues! The continuation trail leads from Käserstatt through raised moors across the Balisalp along the wild stream to the Bannwald and further to the mid-station Lischen. At varied experience stations such as Moorchnorzen and dwarf houses, cable car, suspension bridge and the wild stream, children can experience the story. The path offers a fantastic view of Lake Brienz and is also worth experiencing for adults.
Transport
Several access options are available by car. From Geneva, the fastest route leads via Bern. From Zurich or Basel, driving towards Lucerne and the Brünig Pass is the quickest. The pass is open in summer and winter.
From the south, the route to the region leads via the Grimsel or Susten Pass. Both passes are only open in summer. As an alternative, the Simplon Pass and then Lötschberg car shuttle are available.
