Rochegrises - Col de la Croix

A winter walk through the snow-covered landscapes of Villars.

Starting from Villars, on the road to Col de la Croix, you will rub shoulders with skiers and snowshoe hikers on this magnificent route accessible to all. After a few hundred metres surrounded by forest, admire the view of the Vaud Alps and Mont Blanc. This walk takes you to the Verneyre refuge, where you can enjoy typical local dishes. From the Verneyre refuge, you can continue your walk to the Col de la Croix. The return journey follows the same route. At any point during the hike, you can turn back and easily return to the starting point.
