Rochegrises - Le Golf

Ideal for lovers of snowy landscapes, this pleasant winter walk starting in Villars, passing through Verneyre and leading to the golf course, offers breathtaking views.

Starting from Villars, on the road to the Col de la Croix, rub your shoulders with skiers and snowshoe hikers on this magnificent trail accessible to all. After a few hundred metres surrounded by forest, admire the view of the Alpes Vaudoises and Mont Blanc. This walk leads you to the Verneyre refuge where you enjoy a delicious meal!From the Verneyre refuge, continue the walk towards the Col de La Croix. You then branch off in the direction of the Golf and pass under the Rasse chairlift. Enjoy a well-deserved break on the Golf terrace and admire the view. Return to Villars either by train (Golf stop) or by the same route. During this hike, retrace your steps and return to the starting point at any time you want! This walk in the direction of the descent is also possible; take the train to the Golf stop (3rd stop from Villars station) and follow the path from the Golf through La Verneyre to Villars (Rochegrises).
