SAC Hollandia Hut

A beautiful ski tour through the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site to the SAC Hollandia Hut.

Begin your tour at the post office in Blatten and ski at a leisurely pace along the cross-country track up towards the Fafleralp (caution: cross-country skiers and winter hikers have priority on the track). Depending on local snow conditions you may start this tour alternatively at the Fafleralp. The road from Blatten to the Fafleralp is open from May/June (depending on snow conditions). Continue to the Ganderre and Gandegga from the Fafleralp. This is where the long climb starts to the SAC Hollandia Hut via the glacier "Langgletscher". Your efforts will be rewarded! The SAC Hollandia Hut offers a magnificent view over the Konkordiaplatz to the east, the Aletschhorn to the south, and the entire length of the Lötschental Valley to the west.
