Description
You are on foot instead of skis in the ski area and can meet your friends or family at the Rinderhütte for lunch - or simply soak up the sun.
The winter hiking trail runs from the Schwalbennest mountain station down beside the ski slope to the Rinderhütte. To get to the starting point Schwalbennest, you take the chairlift up from the Rinderhütte just like the skiers.
Please note that only uphill rides with the chairlift are possible (no downhill rides).

From Basel and Zurich: Highway A1 to Bern; A6 to Spiez; direction Kandersteg; car shuttle Kandersteg – Goppenstein; direction Gampel; Leuk – Leukerbad
From Geneva: Highway A1 to Lausanne; direction Sion/Sierre; Leuk – Leukerbad
From Milan: Highway A8/A26 towards Simplon; car shuttle Iselle-Brig; direction Leuk – Leukerbad.
