Description
A six-kilometer-long sledging run extends from Hannig to Saas-Fee, offering pure enjoyment for the whole family.
The descent starts on the Hannigberg (2,362 m above sea level). Before the rapid descent into the valley, there is an opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains. In particular, the terrace of the Hannig mountain restaurant, which offers a unique view, is a special place for sun lovers.
Sledging can be done not only in sunshine: with an additionally borrowed headlamp, the moonlight descent can be experienced, which is an unforgettable experience especially for families.
**NEW: Eddie's interactive sledging run**
From mid-December (depending on snow conditions), sledding fans at Hannigberg can expect a special adventure: the evil eagle Aragon has stolen the magical crystals that protect the larch forest on the Hannigberg. Together with the brave marmot Eddie, you have to find the hidden crystals and escape from Aragon. Along the sledding track, interactive elements await where crystals can be collected. The goal is to reach the finish before Aragon. The interactive sledging run offers lots of sledding fun with many surprises, including a speed measurement. The mission can also be completed during night sledding – reflectors show the way to the crystals.
Transport
The Saas valley is easily and conveniently accessible by car from all directions, whether from Switzerland or abroad. From the north, you reach us via Bern through the Lötschberg car shuttle. From the east, you come via the Furka Pass or the Furka car shuttle. From the south, we are accessible via the Simplon Pass or the Simplon car shuttle, and from the west, you drive via Lausanne along the Rhone valley to Visp and from there towards Saas-Fee.
**From Visp**, drive south towards Saas-Fee. At the "Killerhof" roundabout near Stalden, take the second exit to Saas-Fee. In Saas-Grund, turn right after the church towards Saas-Fee.
