The marked snowshoe route at the valley end of the Diemtigtal Nature Park takes you through the home of Waldmanndli Grimmimutz to the wildlife observation station. Here you can discover, with a bit of luck, the ibex colony on the opposite mountainside through the permanently installed telescope. Taking a break and enjoying the view into the valley is almost a must at the Nidegg slope – do you know the surrounding peaks of the Diemtigtal? If you like, you can start the ascent to the top station of the Grimmialp chairlift from Nidegg (1 km). However, this path is not marked and caution is advised when crossing ski slopes.
