Description
The relaxing Sun Trail, which leads from the Hannig mountain station to Saas-Fee, offers spectacular views as well as interesting facts about the sun.
The themed trail starts at the Hannig mountain station and leads southwards on a prepared winter hiking trail. In addition to spectacular views of the Saas mountain panorama, there are various stations along the way with interesting facts about the sun. The sun trail initially zigzags downhill through open terrain until it reaches the edge of the forest. The trail continues through the larch forest towards Café Alpenblick, where the themed trail ends. The descent to Saas-Fee takes place behind the Alpenblick in a winding descent to the glacier village.
Transport
Saas-Fee/Saastal can easily be reached by car from all directions, whether from Switzerland or abroad.You can reach us via Bern via the Lötschberg car transport from the north. You come over the Furka Pass or the Furka car transport from the east.From the south, you can reach us via the Simplon Pass or Simplon car transport, and from the west, you drive via Lausanne along the Rhône valley to Visp and towards Saas-Fee.
**From Visp,** drive south in the direction of Saas-Fee. At the "Killerhof" roundabout after Stalden, take the second exit towards Saas-Fee. In Saas-Grund, turn right after the church in the direction of Saas-Fee.
