A path for early risers: The best time to experience wildlife in the wild is the morning hours between 5 and 9 a.m. in spring. Animals like red deer, chamois, roe deer and snow hare are shy and avoid humans. With some luck and binoculars, they can be well observed from the wildlife path.
Transport
The holiday region Gstaad is located in the southwest of Switzerland directly on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun lake region, the Geneva lake area and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed rail network and to all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant arrival. The main means of transport within the region are the "MOB" train (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) and numerous postbus lines.
