The Tour du Mont trail - Vercorin

Easy short route with beautiful views over the Rhône plain, includes an educational trail. A superb viewpoint awaits you at the finish.

Starting from the village center, this easily passable path will take you around the Mont de Vercorin. A viewpoint located at the paragliders' departure offers a stunning view over the valley beyond Sion. You can also admire the Rhône Plain which provides a magical panorama. The educational trail deals with the roles played by the forest, its value, vulnerability, and the pressures it faces. The last panel is dedicated to donkey grazing on the Mont terraces.
