Ideal ride for children from the ice rink sports center. Bucolic and easy route along the doe park to descend into the forest near a stream, then up by the goat farm and the riding school.
From the le centre sportif de la patinoire, head to the parc à biches (deer park) and take the path that runs alongside it. You’ll see a few beehives before the path leads deeper into the forest. Next, cross a small wooden bridge, then follow the stream upstream, passing the fish farm, until you reach the cantonal road.
The walk continues towards the la chèvrerie de Leysin (selling local produce). Visits and tastings are available by booking. The next point of interest is the manège de Leysin, where you can see the horses and ponies. You can also go horse riding, subject to booking.
The route ends at the ice rink sports centre, completing the loop.
