A family walk in the middle of pastures, with beautiful views of Mémises, Mont César and Dent d'Oche as well as Lake Geneva.
This nature trail lets you explore the natural and cultural treasures of Mount Benand. A series of magnificent viewpoints offer views of Lake Geneva, the Jura Mountains, the Mémises, the Bernex Valley with its peaks (the Dent d’Oche, Mont César, Pic de Boré, Pelluaz, and Chesnay), and the Gavot Plateau. Designated a UNESCO Geopark, informational signs help you discover all the area’s treasures. You’ll see the Croix du Bénand and, with a short detour, the barns of Mont Bénand, which bear witness to the past and to life in the alpine pastures of yesteryear.
