Tour of the Combe d'Arbaz

A beautiful mountain walk to a former alp, where you’ll be rewarded with magnificent views of the Rhône Valley and the Valais Alps. This wonderful walk begins at Étang-Long (free parking). First, you’ll walk along the Bitaillaz suone to the Les Évouettes reservoir. You’ll then hike across the maiensässes towards Alp La Comba. On the La Comba–Incron section, you’ll walk along a path hugging the hillside. From Incron, the route descends via the Mayens de Vermenala until you reach the Planeige forest. Bring a picnic and drinks with you (there are no restaurants along the way)!
