On the heights of the village, you will find the start of this hiking route which allows you to reach the intermediate station of the Vercorin-Crêt du Midi cable car. This route will allow you to enjoy a moment in nature and discover the region. From Vercorin, to the Refuge du Bisse passing by the Ardebran cabin, you will explore the surroundings up to Sigeroulaz. Through the forest, this walk will let you enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings, guaranteed pleasure!
Due to the various slopes present on this medium difficulty path, a good profile or small crampons are recommended.
Transport
To reach Vercorin by car, take the A9 motorway exit named "Sierre West". At the motorway exit, take the first roundabout exit towards Chalais. Once in Chalais, take the road towards "Vercorin". The journey duration is about 20 minutes from the motorway exit.
A good alternative to the mountain road is also the cable car from Chalais (free parking) which reaches Vercorin in 7 minutes. Free shuttle buses run between the cable car and the ski lifts.
