Ski touring route going from the village of Vercorin to the mountain restaurant Crêt-du-Midi via the alpine pasture of Tracui.
Leading to Crêt du Midi, this route allows you to discover the eastern part of the ski area. This medium difficulty climb will take you to the alpine pasture of Tracui. Double your efforts for the second part of the route, which features more technical challenges. This place, generally well exposed to the sun in the first part of the day, is ideal for a break.
Transport
To reach Vercorin by car, take the A9 motorway exit named "Sierre west." At the motorway exit, take the first roundabout exit towards Chalais. Once in Chalais, take the road towards "Vercorin." The journey takes about 20 minutes from the motorway exit.
A good alternative to the mountain road is also the cable car from Chalais (free parking) that reaches Vercorin in 7 minutes. Free shuttle buses run between the cable car and the ski lifts.
