The hiking trail starts in Saanenmöser (1,270 m above sea level) and runs to Schönried on a trail suitable for wheelchair users (No. 447). This beautiful, sunny, and flat promenade path crosses the high plateau of the Moos from Saanenmöser to Schönried (1,230 m above sea level). In Schönried, the sun terrace of the Gstaad region, the hike leaves the wheelchair-accessible path heading towards Gstaad. The easy panorama trail leads along the foot of the Hornberg, gently downhill to Gstaad. The hike over meadows and paths offers beautiful views of Saanen, considered the historic heart of the Saanenland. The village, with its cozy chalets from the 15th to the 18th century, is part of the inventory of the protected local images of Switzerland. Behind, not to be missed, is the imposing Le Rubli rising into the sky, or as the Saanen locals say: the Rübli (horn). In the second part of the hike, you are near the railway lines. With some luck, the GoldenPassPanoramic train with its well-known panorama cars glides through the idyllic landscape during the walk. Shortly thereafter, the destination comes into view: the chalet village of Gstaad and its landmark, the Gstaad Palace with its four distinctive towers. The hiking trail again crosses over the railway line above Gstaad. Then you reach the village, where the charming promenade invites you to stroll and linger.
