Short beautiful route around Lauenensee in the nature reserve Gelten-Iffigen.
This short, lovely walk around Lake Lauenensee in the Gelten–Iffigen nature reserve starts at the bus stop. From the parking lot, follow the lively Louibach stream. At the fork, turn right in the direction of the lake. Below the Lauenensee restaurant, the relaxing circular walk around the lake begins. Along the entire route, you can enjoy the view of the lake. The hike is doable with a good stroller.
Transport
The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland, directly at the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is conveniently reachable by train or car from the Thun Lake region, the Lake Geneva area, and the Gruyère region.
