From Saanen, you can easily reach the Mittelberg Pass by postbus. From there, this long and spectacular hike leads to the Grubenberghütte and then over the Alp Le Savigny to Rodomont and down to Pont de la Scie.
From Mittelberg, it goes directly quite steeply up to the [Grubenberghütte](https://www.grubenberg.ch/). Then it goes up only a little and especially along the impressive mountain slopes of Dent de Ruth and Dent de Savigny. Along the way, you may encounter alpine orchids or marmots at the right time. Via Alp Savigny and Combette, the route descends to the Col de la Forcla. From there, continue to Les Rodomonts to enjoy the view over the Saanenland and Pays-d'Enhaut, and then steeply down into the Grischbach valley to Pont de la Scie, where the postbus can take you back to Saanen.
