Watch black grouse mating and, with a bit of luck and a keen eye, spot stone deer in the wild high above Emmetten and Beckenried. The unique wildlife observation trail leads from Niederbauen to Stockhütte or via Heitliberg to Klewenalp. Depending on the route chosen, the hike takes between 3 and 4 1/2 hours. Along the way, information on native animals and twelve different birds will be displayed on 16 information boards. Depending on the time of year, the animals can be found in different places. The expert local guide will be happy to point out the best places for observations.
