Description
The cozy winter hiking route from Hannig to Saas-Fee.
The path starts at the mountain station of the Hannig cable car and leads north along the toboggan run. The path leads in a cozy zigzag to the tree line and through the sheep forest to Melchboden. From Melchboden, the path runs southwards straight slightly downhill to Honeggu. Above Honeggu, you reach the field path that leads past the shepherd's hut to the village square of Saas-Fee.
Transport
The Saastal is easy and convenient to reach by car from all directions, whether from Switzerland or abroad. From the north, you reach us via Bern through the Lötschberg car shuttle. From the east, you come via the Furka Pass or Furka car shuttle. From the south, we are accessible via the Simplon Pass or Simplon car shuttle, and from the west, you drive via Lausanne along the Rhone valley to Visp and from there towards Saas-Fee.
**From Visp**, drive south towards Saas-Fee. At the "Killerhof" roundabout near Stalden, take the second exit towards Saas-Fee. In Saas-Grund, turn right after the church towards Saas-Fee.
