Bisse Trail No. 4 - St-Luc

An invigorating hike through the forest and along the bisse.

This enchanting trail through the forest will let you exercise while staying out of the harsh sun.

Saint Luke Start at the St-Luc funicular and head toward “Prilet” through the cow pastures. From there, the trail climbs toward Gillou (up to an elevation of 1,829 m) on the path leading to the Hotel Weisshorn. At this elevation, turn left and follow the Bisse Roux, which winds through the forest with a series of small ascents and descents. After a short descent and crossing a wooden bridge, you’ll rejoin the Grand Bisse de St-Luc. This trail will take you to the Pierre des Sauvages above the village of St-Luc. From there, tackle the steep descent that will bring you back to the village. Finally, from the village, head back to the funicular to finish your hike. Saint Luke
