Double KV Trail No. 5 - Chandolin

A steep, vertical climb with a breathtaking view from the summit of the Illhorn!

Departure from the "STEP" for the double KV. Passing through the authentic village of Fang, climbed up a steep and winding path towards La Rèche, just below the village of Chandolin. The route passes through the different habitats of Chandolin and then climbs towards the Illhorn, via the ski slope. Passing in front of the Cabane Illhorn, before attacking the last difficulty of the day, direction Pas de l'Illsee, then summit of the Illhorn 2716m.

Vissoie Start at “la STEP” for the double KV and pass through the quaint village of Fang. Climb up a steep, winding trail toward La Rèche, below the village of Chandolin. The route passes through the various hamlets of the former municipality of Chandolin, then climbs toward the Illhorn via the ski trail. Pass the Illhorn Hut and tackle the final challenging stretch toward the Pas de l’Illsee, then on to the summit of the Illhorn at 2,716 meters. Chandolin
