Start your GPS tracking at the Hohneggstrasse above the new Hannigbahn and follow the road a short distance southwest. At the first opportunity, turn right into a small trail. After the "Berter" the path turns right and zigzags up to the Café Alpenblick.

From Alpenblick, turn left after the Bubble Suite onto the small path and follow it to the edge of the forest and further to the alpine huts of Alpe Hannig. After the huts, the path turns left and zigzags (via the Sonnenweg) up to the top station of the Hannigbahn. Don’t forget to stop the GPS here.
