How about we go train around our mountain lakes?
The Lakes Trail takes you on a journey to discover the four mountain lakes of St-Luc, winding through irrigation channels and flower-filled pastures.
The St-Luc Lakes Trail was completely renovated in 2026. Whether you’re trail running or hiking, it’s a magnificent loop starting from Tignousa. Heading toward the Observatory, the trail first crosses the pastures of the Alpage de Rouaz. A small, untamed bisse then leads to the first lake, Plan Torgnon, with its picturesque little island. Beneath the imposing Toûno, the trail continues past Lake Combavert, then a narrow alpine path leads to Lake Armina. Lake Bella-Tola (2,577 m) is the highest point of the loop. The trail down to Tignousa crosses numerous marshes and streams—don’t forget to stop for a coffee break at the Bella-Tola Hut before heading back!
Mountain hiking trail - may contain chain-secured and exposed sections. The path is not always visible. Sometimes you need your hands for balance. Sure-footedness and average orientation skills are required.
