Above Zinal, between heaven and earth

This trail offers magnificent panoramic views of the valley floor. Don't let the beauty of Mother Nature distract you too much. Watch where you put your trailing feet.

Zinal

From the Zinal swimming pool, follow the Sierre-Zinal race route in the opposite direction, which climbs steeply to Lyrec. At the mountain pasture, don't head for St-Luc, but continue upwards for a few more metres. At around 2,350 m, turn right and follow the sentier des arolles. You'll overlook the village of Zinal for several kilometers before returning to the village via the Chemin de Tracuit.
